Colour Correction can be used to fix a bad colour, a build up of home colours or simply when you want to go from your current dark hair colour to light. It is important to remember everyone’s hair reacts differently to Colour, for that reason we cannot guarantee or predict the colour you will end up with. By using Aveda Colours and Cleansers we can maintain the condition of your hair, as well as, provide a take home “hospital for hair” program that will aid in restoring your hair to its best form and the colour you desire.
We have attached some photos of a recent Colour Correction we did in the salon. I think you can agree the results are amazing and the shine and condition is a great example of what we can achieve when we Colour Correct using Aveda.
At Subi we do not take short cuts when we Colour, so please expect to be in the salon for a minimum of 3 hours. It is a 3-4 Step process on the day (see pictures). We use this method to keep optimum shine and condition to the hair. If your desired Colour is not achieved on first visit sometimes a follow up colour 4-5 weeks later is required to remove the final old colour.
Prices depends on hair length, hair condition and colour build up in the hair. Our Senior Stylists are happy to meet with you for a complimentary consult prior to booking your appointment so we can quote for your hair length and needs. To secure your appointment we will need a 50% deposited that is not refundable if you cancel within 48hrs, as we mark off up to half a day to work on your hair one on one.
Pictures L-R: Our Guest started with dark red hair that had been very heavely colour and had a build up. The colour was uneven but conditon good.
Step 1) Aveda Cleanse, gently we move the colour out of the hair by using a Aveda Cleanse and the heat of our hands to exfoilate the old colour out.
Step 2)Once cleansed you can already see the difference. The hair is then dried and re-assesed for the next stage, in this case we did half a head of foils then a base and end colour of ash blonde.
Final Colour after nearly 3 hours. A soft very natural colour with no red hair in sight. Guest took home a Damage Remedy Shampoo, Damage Remedy Conditioner and Treatment our "hospital at home' kit.

Sarah started with a cleanse., that lifted all the built up colour, then applies a Aveda Semi on the base and a clear gloss with a hint of blue through the ends to created a soft Ombre look.
What a impressive result!!! This image had over 17,000 hits on our Facebook page!

As the actual appointment on the day can take upto 4 hours we require a $50 deposit to book you in, which is credited back to you on the day of the colour correction.
